Soroptimist International San Jose Batangas was officially charted on July 2, 2020. Charter President Carmeli Robles recruited 11 likeminded individuals, aged 24-40 from different industries and professions to form SISJ with the intent of making San Jose super. Together, they gathered each one’s ideas and talents to be able to give back to the community as well as help out those in need, especially when they were thrust into Taal eruption and Covid-19 relief operations. The club then gained more members through recruitment of friends and family, maintaining the camaraderie and dynamics that enable them them to work harmoniously together. With the help and support of our mother club SIBD, as well as never ending learnings from past DD Felie Go, SISJ has flourished and has even garnered numerous awards in the previous conferences. The club has indeed flourished and become an accomplished group of women of substance who are primed to always be in service of others.
