Past Presidents and highlights of their term

  1. Villa Granada de Guia devoted to laying strong foundations , creating committees, fundraising, recruiting more members and getting to know the needs of the Community

  2. President Leonor O Leary pushed for non-formal education of parents and Out of school youth

  3. President Teresita B Choa – the highlights of her term included environment oriented programs .She was a proponent of Anti Smoke Belching Campaign in Metro Manila and the club actively involved with the Philippine Ecological Network and co-sponsored the forum on Deteriorating Air Quality in Metro Manila

  4. Nilda Rotor -repair of 20 earthquake damaged classrooms in Baguio and distribution 40 pedicabs for the community in Makati

  5. Carmen Flor – Si Makati caused the establishment and adopted the Makati Police Station women’s and Children’s Desk. It was so successful it has become an identifying project for clubs of SIPR Nationwide

  6. Cely Ng- focused on the construction of a child Care Center with a library supporting teachers for the center

  7. Ligaya Tankeh – Noteworthy project was forming of the Sigma Society in rizal College and Calaca Academy

  8. President Rosario Mercader included the advocacy of the Clean Air Act

  9. Yolanda Bacani ‘s term was short. Her term as president of SI Makati were mostly geared towards providing assistance to orphanages and abused young girls

  10. Elizabeth Cristobal – Highlights of her term is cash donation for the rehabilitation of a 1 hectare land around La Mesa Watershed.

  11. Evelyn San Buenaventura-received a $10,000 grant from SIA for the Asamba Sewing livelihood, construction of a building and distribution of sewing machines and sewing materials for the women of Asamba

  12. Ma Rosario Tumaneng – Highlight of her term is to partner with a volunteer lawyer’s group to assist in all legal matters affecting WCPD officers as well as victims of the Women’s desk

  13. Ma Dolores Buenaflor- supported livelihood programs in Barangay Comembo and Barangay Fairview

  14. Clarita Ordonez – Highlights of her term was geared towards Anti trafficking and Education.

  15. Felicisma Noble Promoting technical and vocational skills in barangay Comembo

  16. Bessie Escalona- highlights of her term was the supporting and construction of 2 livelihood centers in earthquake destroyed localities  in  Candavid and Cabawan, Maribojoc Bohol.

  17. Nanette Valdez- highlight of her term was to provide water filtration System and livelihood skills training for women of Montesunting Carmen, Bohol

  18. Josefina Puey- She launched SI Makati’s Living expense and Allowance Program giving PHP2,000 month allowance to qualified students to assist in their education

  19. Lourdes Angeles- Continued to promote the  adopt a scholar thru SI Makati’s LEAP program

  21. Visitacion Escalona has adopted the Resettlement areas in Pandi Bulacan providing livelihood skills to the community and donating sewing machines and dishwashing kits. Promoting access to education by partnering with Bulacan State Univeristy to select and manage the LEAP program.
