Adopt A PNP - WCPD (Women and Children Protection Desk)
Provides a focal point for projects of Soroptimist clubs in the Philippines. Established in 1981, this project has contributed to the impetus for Soroptimist growth in the Philippines through service to women and girls in the barangay, the smallest unit of government in the country. A sound working relationship with local officials and barangay women fosters cooperation, facilitates logistic arrangements and ensures the success of projects benefitting women and girls in the community.

A project of Soroptimist and PNP for enrichment of police practices on women regarding gender related issues, handling of victims and rights and roles of police women.

1st National Summit
Theme: PNP Women and Childrens Desk: "Working Towards Establishing Justice and Safety for Women and Children in the 21st Century"
Goal: Establishing a more efficient and effective police desk in providing law enforcement and public safety service and protection to the particular sectors of women and children.
2nd National Summit
Theme: "A Decade After: Towards a breakthrough in the PNP Program on Women and Children"
Goal: Create a stronger collaborative network among the PNP Women and Children's Desk and its community partners to better respond to abused women and children.

Theme: "Empowering Women in Policing: An effective Instrument of O.N.E. PNP Towards a Strong Republic"
