Soroptimist International Sapang Palay (SISP) was founded by Mrs. Neng Camino and acted as charter President for two years (2008-2010). During her stint, we received US$ 10,000 grant to fund the Bahay Kanlungan Project. After Mrs. Camino’s term, Ms. Ma. Gina L. Patena took over as President. During her leadership, the club was recognized as one of the Top 10 outstanding clubs in the Region (2008-2009 and 2019-2010). During Dra. Fidelina Mier’s term as President (2011-2012), SISP was awarded as the most outstanding club in Malolos with a cash prize of 30,000 pesos. When Mrs. Ladisla Felices took office as president, a Club Resolution as adopted to change the current name of the club to SI SJDM District II. Until recently, the club continues to extend its support to less privileged; particularly women and children, and we seek to continue this mission to spread goodwill within our community.
