Consistent with its objectives, the club is conducting its worthwhile activities toward peace and improving lives. On August 23 and 30, 2018, the club was given the chance to share to all the PNP men and women officers and members in our city, as requested by our Chief of police PSUPT. Salvador S. Destura Jr., the biblical and moral truths on how to strengthen their marriage relationships and be fully efficient in serving the community. In addition, the need for reformers in Bahay Pagbabago ( also in the PNP compound) to hear encouragement and motivation through the women of SI SCM was delegated by our Chief of Police to the club. As a result, we were able to give one hour of lecture on moral value formation weekly for the whole month of September.

Some of the organization’s ongoing and upcoming projects include “Adopt-a-Barangay Project” and “Adopt-a-Daycare Center Project” in Naglabrahan wherein soap and perfume making as a livelihood project is scheduled on December 21, 2018. Simultaneous to this, we will also assist in the rehabilitation of the daycare center by replacing broken glass windows, repainting of the room and provision of the urinal for male pupils. Moreover, there will also be gift-giving to the families in the barangay.

“Zumba for a Cause" is being organized now as the club’s fundraising project which will be conducted on January 26, 2019, at Pag-asa Gym in our city.  In addition, there are still key chains and SI emblems for sale which we continue to dispose of since the term of PP Peachy Tadeo.

Soroptomist International is committed to improving the lives of women and girls through local projects and programs and we will remain steadfast in this commitment.
