About Us

Chartered: October 4, 1994

Soroptimist International of Sampaloc was chartered on October 4, 1994, by PP Mari Paz Herrera of SI-Quezon City with PP Remedios Quiray as the Charter President. During the term of PP/DDE Eva A. Dulay, a club consisting of 12 millennial members was chartered by her with Joan Marcial as the Charter President. Since the chartering of SI-Sampaloc, succession of Club Presidents took place, to wit: PP Remedios Quiray (1994-1998), PP Leonila Ortiz (1998-2000), PP Nelia Javillo (2000-2002), PP/PDD Violeta F. Lapid (Pres: 2002-2008 / DD: 2012-2014), PP Carmencita M. Moreno (2008-2010), PP Cecilia Reyes (2010-2011), IPP/DDE Eva A. Dulay (Pres: 2011-2016 / DDE: 2018-2020), Pres. Berlinda D. Romero (2016-2020). At present, SI-Sampaloc is composed of 16 members.
