The name Soroptimist International CalDeTaal (SICT) represents the towns nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of the Caldera of Taal. These communities, located along the shores of Taal Lake and shaped by the powerful presence of Taal Volcano, reflect nature’s beauty, resilience, and the vibrant spirit of the people who call this region home. The historic towns surrounding the caldera share a rich cultural heritage, deep-rooted traditions, and a strong sense of unity that has endured through generations.

As a newly chartered club, SICT is committed to empowering women and girls in the communities within the western Batangas area of the Taal Caldera.
