About Us

Updated Logo SGG 54.png

The name Soroptimist International CalDeTaal (SICT) represents the towns nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of the Caldera of Taal. These communities, located along the shores of Taal Lake and shaped by the powerful presence of Taal Volcano, reflect nature’s beauty, resilience, and the vibrant spirit of the people who call this region home. The historic towns surrounding the caldera share a rich cultural heritage, deep-rooted traditions, and a strong sense of unity that has endured through generations.

Soroptimist International CalDeTaal embraces this legacy of strength and transformation. As a newly chartered club, SICT is committed to empowering women and girls in the communities within the western Batangas area of the Taal Caldera. Inspired by the resilience of the people and the landscape around us, the club works to uplift lives and create opportunities for women and girls to rise above challenges and pursue their aspirations.

Our mission is to promote education, economic empowerment, and social progress, ensuring that women and girls in our region have access to opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential. Through community engagement, partnerships, and impactful programs, SICT strives to foster leadership, confidence, and sustainable development.

With a strong commitment to service and a vision for a brighter and more inclusive future, Soroptimist International CalDeTaal proudly carries its name as a symbol of resilience, transformation, and empowerment—working hand in hand with communities to create meaningful change in the lives of women and girls.
