Soroptimist International of Plaridel

Soroptimist International of Plaridel (SIPLA) was conceptualized and eventually became an organized club on April 23, 1996, with 18 chartered members through the joint effort of SI Pulilan and SI Bocaue, with Mrs. Evangeline Ramos as its Charter President. It has six programs of service namely: EDUCATION, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, HUMAN RIGHTS/ADVANCEMENT ON STATUS OF WOMEN, and INTERNATIONAL GOODWILL AND UNDERSTANDING.

In its early years of existence, it has accomplished various projects in line with its vision for women of Plaridel to unite and help each other for the improvement not only of their own family but also for the community, environment, and government. It started the millennium by recruiting new members who are most willing to make big commitments in the fulfillment of its advocacies.
